When "more" is the biggest complaint you have with a game, that's usually not a bad sign. The Avatar is probably the most interesting Sonic character to come out since Knuckles. |

Overall a fun experience, but far from perfect, and not as good as Mania. You'll probably find yourself grinding out those last few achievements when going for 100%. Music's great, though. |

I wanted more of Sonic Generations and I did get it. I liked the music, the theme and modern sonic-avatar-tag team levels. Yeah, the controls sometimes were slow, the physics felt random and the amount of cutscenes (especially when you try to speedrun the game) may be awful and the setting-scenario potential is wasted... but I left really happy. I felt like even though this game gave me a hard time and sometimes I've even shouted in rage... it satisfied me. I'm humming the songs I thought to be silly, remembered that dumb snake moment, played those Infinite battles in my head and so on. It seems like I'm the only person who legitimately liked the game. |
